Thanksgiving Baskets
It’s that time of year again when we gather food to feed 30+ needy families at Thanksgiving. Boxes will be put in the vestibule until November 24 to gather non-perishables, such as peanut butter, canned fruits or veggies, pasta, cranberry sauce, etc. We also look for boxed goods, such as cakes, biscuits, cookies. Please check expiration dates as we have to throw away anything that is expired. You can also place a donation to go toward the baskets by writing a check with “Thanksgiving baskets” in the memo line to put in the offertory basket by November 24. We are very grateful for all your help toward those in need in our community.
Movie Night in Big Mac
This Thursday, November 21, at 6:30 PM in Big Mac, the Knights of Columbus will be hosting another movie night to continue watching The Chosen. All are invited!
Knights of Columbus Christmas Cards
The weekend of November 23-24, the Knights of Columbus will be selling Christmas cards in the vestibule after all Masses as part of their annual Keep Christ in Christmas campaign.
Giving Tree
Starting on Saturday, November 23, the Catholic Daughters will display this year’s giving tree in the vestibule. On this tree will be names of people from nearby nursing homes. Please take an ornament, buy at least one of the requested items, and return your gift to the vestibule by December 15. Thank you for helping our community!
Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
This is a reminder that the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is a Holy Day of Obligation. This year, it is on Monday, December 9. We will offer Mass at 8 AM and 7 PM on that day for this important solemnity.
Baptism Class
There will be no Baptismal Prep Class in December. The class in January will be on the second Saturday, January 11. Contact the Parish Office if you have questions or would like to attend the class.
