About Us

WHO ARE WE?

Started in 1949, Saints Peter and Paul Parish continues to serve the Catholic community of Northern Colorado in the Archdiocese of Denver. Our founding Pastor, Father Robert McMahon served zealously for decades to “save souls” and to strengthen the spiritual lives of his flock in Wheat Ridge.  He initiated and built much of what is now our current campus.

Through the years, our dedicated priests, deacons, religious sisters, and lay faithful have helped others to encounter Christ in the Sacraments, our many dynamic ministries, our outreach programs, religious education, Saints Peter and Paul Catholic STEM School, and the daily interactions of this vibrant faith community.

Our goal and our mission are clear:  to know Jesus, to know about Jesus, and to make Jesus known to the world!  Jesus is at the HEART of all that we do and are at Saints Peter and Paul Parish!

Come, join us.  All are welcome here, and we invite you to be part of our faith-filled parish community. Jesus is calling you.

MISSION STATEMENT

Encountering Jesus through His word and sacraments, we are a community of faith devoted to evangelization and service.

Through the liturgy of the Mass, the Sacraments and the various ministries of Saints Peter and Paul, our parishioners enjoy an authentic and deep encounter with Jesus.  We know, love and accompany one another on our journey of life and faith.  Saints Peter and Paul parishioners love their Catholic Faith and express this love through evangelization and service to the parish and local community.
